The company

Veteran-led. Built around one North Star.

Build software people can own, operate, and defend—and preserve the reason it works as teams, models, requirements, and missions change.

Why Serapis

We are building the system we wanted beside us.

Serapis Architecture exists to close the gap between work an AI can generate and software an accountable team can own, operate, and defend. AI makes software faster to start; it does not automatically supply product judgment, secure engineering, evidence, operations, accountability, or a reason the result should be trusted.

Serapis leads that missing work. We are developing a governed product-building path in which models remain useful workers, deterministic mechanics expose what can actually be established, and people retain decision authority.

We are applying the same discipline to our own products first. Our internal brownfield is Tenant Zero: the place where assumptions meet real files, repositories, decisions, failures, and operating pressure before we ask a customer to trust the path.

Who we are

Small by design. Direct by default.

Customers do not disappear behind a rotating support queue. The people shaping the engagement are the people accountable for the product and its technical boundary.

Named responsibilityProduct, mission, security, data, partnerships, and engineering each have a named lead.

Operating values

Leadership is a technical control.

Good intentions are not enough. Our working method has to make ownership, uncertainty, review, and correction visible in the product and in our own delivery.

01

Tell the truth by stage

Separate reviewed design, executable behavior, trial evidence, production readiness, and customer authority. One label cannot stand in for another.

02

Make unknown useful

UNKNOWN should identify missing work, responsible ownership, and a bounded path to resolution—not become a permanent excuse.

03

Preserve the basis

Keep the source, rule, decision, identity, and effect connected so a later reviewer can understand the work without reconstructing it from memory.

04

Own the whole product

Interface, logic, evidence, economics, deployment, maintenance, and customer exit are one product problem, not separate handoffs.

05

Start with the brownfield

Learn the real systems, people, documents, and contradictions before prescribing a new operating surface.

06

Build for replacement

Design the customer’s source, data, rules, receipts, and operating memory to remain useful if any provider changes.

The name

Serapis remembers the fight.

HMS Serapis is remembered through the 1779 battle with John Paul Jones and the resolve associated with his reply: “I have not yet begun to fight.”

For us, the name is a reminder that endurance comes from disciplined action under pressure—knowing what is true, what remains unknown, who has authority, and what must happen next.

Direct access

Work with the people responsible for the result.

Bring the problem as it actually exists. We will tell you what we can demonstrate, what needs a bounded trial, and what remains outside the present claim.
